This is wild! Grew up an hour and a half south of Circleville, driven through there a thousand times. I never heard about any of this! Also, happy belated birthday!

I mean Karen fits the m.o. but she was living in a beat up rv on Mary's property on her charity.how is she mailing letters 30 - 40 miles away? How would she find out people's secrets. She was looked down upon by the most of the people in the documentary.

The sheriff was a powerful man :with powerful friends that alot of people loved and hated. But he would have a lot to lose if it was him. His job was his whole life.

Massie could have sent them to himself and orchestrated all of this to get Mary . They ended up together. The letters stopped shortly before he died. Whoever They were outed and stopped a child molester anyway. It's a weird case .

Nice job. I think it was most likely Ron’s sister. Karen aka Paul’s Wife. And if not Karen alone, Paul and her together. But I don’t think Paul would have been dumb enough to use a Box from his work, a gun from his house, and the fact that the letters kept coming while he was in prison. And if it was Paul alone, he had to bribe someone to help him to send hundreds of letters when he was in prison. Also if Paul is working everyday in Columbus how did he know all the towns gossip?

It’s most likely Karen.
